This is a walkthrough of the Hack The Box machine called “Outbound”. In this video we take advantage of Round Cube Webmail, then escape a docker container by dumping a database and retrieving credentials. We privesc by using an exploit that takes advantage of symlinks to add anew user with root privileges to the machine. ***SPOILERS*** I show you how to pwn the box, so if you don’t want help with it do not watch this video.
